Analogy behind our logo: T = Transport, Links = Left in German
Our project was born in the Young Enterprise Scheme at the beginning of 2016. Malte Staab and Nikara Tikaram worked with two students who were part of the group at the time, to develop and progress our idea of the stickers. Through the Young Enterprise Scheme, we had many successes, such as being in the finals of Dragon's Den and coming fourth out of 16 teams, meeting former Associate Minister of Transport and Minister of Small Businesses, Craig Foss in Wellington, meeting Hon Winston Peters and being finalists for many awards at the end of year Young Enterprise Scheme awards.
After the Young Enterprise Scheme had ended, along with secondary school for three of four members, Malte and Nikara wanted to continue the project into the future. Both Nikara and Malte have a huge passion for business and an even bigger passion for this idea. Malte Staab currently lives in Germany and is in one of the top schools in his region (Rheingauschule Geisenheim) and is in charge of the admin, whilst Nikara is currently studying at Massey University in Albany for a BBS (Human Resource Management, Marketing & International Business) and is responsible for day to day duties and is the chairwoman of the company.
Together, Malte and Nikara have high goals for the future of TLinks, and are really confident in the progression of TLinks in the future as both have a really high interest for the New Zealand tourism industry.
